Worth knowing: At 8 inches it’s a side plate: better for a few things arranged than a full dinner.
The green came out of the fire, not a paint pot.
The surface radiates from the centre in a fine relief, glazed in a kiln-transformation sage that gathers in the grooves and thins across the ridges. Where it pools it goes deep; where the relief stands proud it goes almost grey.
Wide and shallow — better for a few good things arranged than for a full dinner piled on.

Hand-wash and dry. Skip abrasive scouring powder — the relief holds the glaze, and scrubbing flattens exactly the detail you bought it for.

No — and that is the point. The glaze moves differently in every firing. Expect the same form and palette, with its own pattern.
Who makes it?
Not us. Kvist chooses its pieces from ceramics producers in China and lists one colourway of each — the one that sits best with everything else on the table.
How should I care for it?
Hand wash in warm water and let it dry before stacking. Avoid sudden temperature changes — no moving a cold piece straight into a hot oven. Where the foot is left unglazed, it can mark a polished surface, so lift rather than slide. All care notes.
