Chosen for the slow table
The Ritual Matcha Set — a kiln-glazed bowl, a bamboo whisk and everything in between, boxed. Sift, whisk, wait. Then six more pieces chosen for the same table.
Ritual Matcha Set — $68.00
The kiln
Reactive and kiln-transformation glazes are unstable on purpose. They are mixed, applied evenly, and then left to the fire — which moves them.
Glaze runs into grooves and off raised edges. The pattern you get is a record of where the heat went.
Same clay, same glaze, same kiln — different result. Yours will not match the photograph exactly, and that is the whole idea.
