Hand-wash and dry the foot ring properly. The foot is left unglazed to show the raw clay, which means it can mark a wet wooden surface if you set it down damp.

Close, but not identical. It is finished by hand, so the detail varies slightly from one piece to the next.
Who makes it?
Not us. Kvist chooses its pieces from ceramics producers in China and lists one colourway of each — the one that sits best with everything else on the table.
How should I care for it?
Hand wash in warm water and let it dry before stacking. Avoid sudden temperature changes — no moving a cold piece straight into a hot oven. Where the foot is left unglazed, it can mark a polished surface, so lift rather than slide. All care notes.
